Ok boys, not that i have any money to actually DO any of this stuff..... but assuming i did, what would you think.....
Considering the Blue case i have, and the blue diamond plating inside....if i was to put in some colored CCLs what color do you think......and what color fans do you think i should have....
i would like to try to stick to a two color scheme..... and the yellow CCL's are too white for me.....
im thinking blue fans, with red CCL's yes? or maybe viceversa _________________

i thought about green and blue...but IMO they are too close in color....and both being kinda soft colors......
I also think i would like blue and red... i just cant decide if i should have blu fans and red CCLs or the other way around.....
anyone with any work in this scheme before? _________________

| Personally, I'd go with blue tubes and red fans. Ham likes green & orange. It didn't sound good to me, but it sure looks good! |

Well I have an entirely blue case with all blue fans, leds and CCLs, etc inside and it looks pretty cool. One of the fans in the side window has a red hdd activity led too and that looks pretty cool but imo red and blue may not look so good, well, at least not in my case anyways. my 2p. _________________

I would say with the lights get all red. So you've got a blue case with blue interior, then red lights. That's what I would do anyway. More split, more even, just seems simpler to me. _________________ Love Is Not Enough... |

I'd say red CCFL's or green CCFL's. _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

yeah but teh red ccfl's are going to take away from the interior color.. i would stick with blue ccfl's and red fans... or bothe... one red one blue.. or 2 red and 2 blue with the multi color led fans _________________ I finally got an award=OFFICIAL ROCKSTEADY AWARD and then one time... at tweaknews dene gave me a A+++++++....

or...you could keep the blue fans, and get one or two of these sunbeam laser LED's (red) and only light a selected portion of the case.
http://xoxide.com/redlazledlig.html
if you go with the red CCFL's, I would suggest using a dual 4" kit, placed top and bottom, that way it's not too washed out _________________ Yeah....... ok |

Why use CCFLs? how about using something like the Luxeon Star LEDs: http://ledsupply.com/led-catalog-luxeon-leds.html
They DO run HOT and need a heatsink to cool them, but that is easy to sort (the computer case is metal and will make a nice heatsink ) the output is VERY bright and you could create a VERY impressive lighting display using red and blue Luxeons! Just two or three of these LEDs would make for a true "WOW" factor.
Another possiblity that I have been toying with is to use a luxeon or two to make a fake "CCFL" style crackle effect tube by attaching a luxeon to one or both ends ( one red and one blue?) to a perspex (plexiglass to u merkins) solid, round / shaped rod/bar. the cracle effect comes by heating the rod gently with a flame until its quite hot (but not burning or melting) and than droping it into a container of cold methelated spirit ( methenol ) the Perspex will react and create small fractures all the way along it. these fractures will deflect the light out like a fractured fiber optic cable (on a MUCH larger scale).
Using one or two of the "tubes" in a higly visable part of the case would look SWEEEET!

Sup to you dude, whatever you would be happiest with
I would go for blue ccs and red fans cuz red ccs will make the case look purple inside and I don't like purple _________________ Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock

Not to mention you have blue reflective material in there, so it is definitely going to look purple. Purple adn blue do go together, but if you are going to go purple, might as well get black lights. _________________ "....Or as almost every word in a sentence; Tweak the tweaking tweakers!"

If it were me, I'd get blue fans, a green CC, and one of these.....

black (Ultra-Violet) light CCFL's are better when they are dim, the poor ones are the ones that are really over bright. the less visible light you have with UV, the more you see the glowing effect of all that UV reactive stuff inside your case.
if you have no UV reactive doodads, then there is no point having UV light _________________ Yeah....... ok |

^exactly, maybe get some blacklights and use some uv reactive nail polish inside your case to get some neat effects _________________ Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock

| The blacklight sounds kinda cool. If you have liquid cooling you should put some ethidium bromide in the water and it will glow like crazy under UV light. But be careful cause it can bind to your DNA, but hey it will look awesome! |

If you want a cool UV effect (and true bragging rights) try to get hold of some Uranium glass, this will give a very spooky green glow. The radiation levels are fairly low (about as dangeous as a microwave oven....) Radium paint would also have a nice effect, though I would hold your breath while painting it, and DON'T lick the brush (they used to do that while painting old clock faces) as there is a HEAVY lead coffin that contains the radioactive body of a woman who painted clock faces about 60years ago, it's still in storage (for the next few hundred years) as RADIOACTIVE BIOHAZZARD WASTE!
