Alpine, pioneer, memphis, eclipse, JL, and infinity make great component speakers. You would probably be best to power them with a JL, MTX, or alpine amp.
Lots of choices but these are great manufacturers. I have one tip - match or beat the RMS wattage rating of the speakers with the amp. (make sure the amp supplies an equal amount or more of RMS watts). This will help avoid distortion and it will make the speakers sound louder. _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

for highs and mids I like Infinity
and for your question here I would say:
http://www.infinitysystems.com/caraudio/
the component systems REF6800CS they also have these in multi-element as well if you dont want components.
And for an amp I like McIntosh, Xtant, and JL Audio. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

Also remember not all RMS ratings are the same. In other words some arent telling you the truth. So in some cases a 45 watt amp from a good company will be louder and cleaner than a 100 watt amp from somebody else. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

I have the s type 6x9's they are a good well rounded speaker, and they are running just off the main deck. |

| When i say "well rounded" I am talking about the frequency range of the speakers. When a speaker is "well rounded" it plays highs and lows without sounding harsh at any frequency. |
