Flash MX Help?

I need some help with a flash project Ive been working on for quite some time.

1. How do i optimize my .swf file for the internet? That video is about 10 seconds long and is 3mb!

2. When the video replays the music overlaps itself. How can I fix this?

3. How do I add an outline to my text?

any help is greatly appreciated.

do u mean out line to ur text as in ... border ... or like.. shadow effect


just copy and paste in place the text... select the color u want so that the copy changes color... and then hold shift(to keep size constraint) while making it slightly larger(with the mouse) than the original... and then use the arrow keys to move it over pixel by pixel until it is under the original text making it look like a shadow...

for a border.. just draw a square or something.. make it look nice.. and put it under the text layer...

im cheking on ur other q's.. i mite know how to fix the over lap problem of ur audio

Yeah i want the music to restart when the flash restarts, and i couldnt get that outline for the text to work :/

any audio stuff let me know...i can resample audio to pretyy much anything you would need...=D

u mean the outline i suggested?
its pretty basic.... if so.. i could explain it a little more thoroughly

uhm... and for the music to restart.. you would need to determine the length of your flash.... and cut the sound clip to match it....

you have compressed the audio right?... (using flash)

nah I didnt and i found out thats why the file was so big, so i took out the music all together till im done, btw i added a funny lil disclaimer to the beginning

terribly sorry about that yosh... i looked at my instructions and slapped my fore head

uhm... well first of... take the text make sure its on its own layer... now copy all text

the creat new layer (laber w/e) and place it below the original text layer...

now paste the copied text and select the border/shadow/whatever color...

now get the FREE TRANSFORM TOOL <<<----- thats what i forgot... and hold shift to constrain proportions and make the text slightly larger...

now u can position it under the original text supplying a border/ shadow effect..

also u can adjust the tint of it to make it really look like a shadow

and when u do add muzik...
import to library...>>add file>>in library window>> right click the file>> properties>>> and adjust it to like i dunno 16kbps and it will shrink the file down for internet use
