New case time.......?

Ok, dads going on a holiday and leaving me home by my self WOOT! and he feels bad now lolz, so hes gonna get me a new case. Im kinda stuck on what one to get im fairley hooked on this one. I also want to stick with thermaltake What do you think of this one http://www.thermaltake.com/xaserCase/Damier/v5000a.htm
It has-
5 fans ( 6 fan control knobs )
X style window
No tool indtalation of hard drives and cd drives
screwless pci ( almost all computers do now )
Retractable foot stands
So what do you think?

Dont you have something similar at the moment?

I like the case, other than the front panel

Why not get a shark or a tsunami? Or a Xaser 3....

On the plus side, it has lots of knobs, you will like that

Oh, and is there a cash alternative?

A lot of nice cases coming out recently. I'm hoping to review a new Tt case soon. If I were you, I wouldn't get in a big hurry.

Otherwise, a nice 5U rack case leaves ALOT of room for creativity...or...actually...it just leaves ALOT OF ROOM.

For your sake and the sake of good taste, I'd perhaps do much looking. The LianLi is quite nice, but it is hard to mod in a manner that maintains and/or accentuates the sleekness of design. A good many off-the-shelf items are BRIGHT and BOLD themselves and crave attention. Using any such part would be wrong in the case of any of the LianLi's. To do them right would require a great deal of custom work and incredible attention to detail. With a brushed aluminum case, you can't hide too many mistakes. Perhaps TT or TR will release a case that doesn't look like a character from Alien vs Preditor or a building in StarCraft and you can have your way with it......or perhaps not.

My honest advice? Do MUCH looking and find something you think you can do different or better than what is out there now. Also, READ REVIEWS so you know how the case behaves thermally guage the build quality. Worst case scenario, make a POLL on the forum!!!!

We'll tell you if we think your s*** stinks.

Eh, I looked at them, but I just didn't care for the checkerboard, like the others said. That, and Tt cases have such a distinct look, if you ever wanted to mod it, you can only go so far..........I mean, I've seen cases that are more generic in appearance, that once modded, look amazing, where most Tt cases modded look like.......er........modded Tt cases.

For that money, I'd look at the CoolerMaster CMStacker.

Lian Li would be an excellent choice, but as was said - they're VERY hard to mod.

If you really wanna stick with Tt, I'd say go w/ the Xaser III full tower, rather than the Xaser V. I read up on both a lot, and the 3 just seemed to be better, so now I have one

I can't guarantee that the 3 is better than the 5 from firsthand experience, but I did a LOT of research before I bought this case, and the 3 came out on top IMO.

Front bezel is ugly, but take a look, it looks real mod friendly. Plus the wind tunnel is kinda cool.

forget that ugly piece of last nights meat loaf.. yuck.. how could u want that... i went with thermaltake for my PSU (680W pure power ) and for my case (Tsunami Dream Silver + X-type window) and i never regret it.. they`re great products... defintley stick with TT buyt forget that case.. try something which has less useless features *cough* fans that swing????!!!*cough* like maybe the new one..the armor one or the kandalf..
