I have a black case, but my two optical drives with beige faceplates. One is a normal tray, the other is a slot (I was sure I ordered a tray!) Anyways, I tried painting them black but it was catastrophic. I'm looking for a pair or real black faceplates to put on them. I know some drives ship with both colors, and thought you guys might have extras. I've never bought over tweaknews.net, but I have a paypal account that should help things.

So anyone have some black faceplates? Keep in mind that I could use a slot or a tray. Or if anyone has a link to where I could buy online, that would rock, but I haven't been able to find them anywhere.

what drives are they..?

some retailers also sell lil things that u glue onto it...

i found a few on a google search u should try..

can you remove the paint?

if you can.....ink them.....dont paint....its porous enough

not to break the rules of buy or kik rox.. but if u use model paint it is very good for painting drives but scratches off... or as t.h. said.. dye.. but sumtimes it can be a hassle... good luck... i wont post any more of my shizz cuz i aint buying
