Gmail?

I got a question about Gmail. I know it's new and I don't know much about it. I guess you get 1 GB storage space free and other features. Is there any spyware or anything harmful involved if I sign up for a Gmail email account. I got an invitation through email to sign up for free.

I've been using it since it came out, the only catch to it is that gmail can monitor what gets sent and recieved. As long as your not doing something illegal your fine.

Plus, the interface is great.

nothing wrong with Gmail....great E-Mail client.

Also, not many ppl seem to know about this, but you can use your G-Mail mail space as a Remote Hard Drive with a special prog named "GMail Drive" (google it

). It appears in My Computer and is accessable via your Email user name and password, all you need to do is install GMail drive on the comp you are using.

I don't htink there's gmail but what they do is they will scan your email for potential ads that they can target on you. I think all the free email service is doing something similar to help them generate some revenues.
