Vantec NExUs

eh today i went to frys and got a vantec nexus nxp 205 ... well the first one i got.. i got home... and opend it.. and it was a hardcano11 ... WTF!!!!!

... so i returned it... took like an hour.. becuz everybody and his mamma was returning stuff at fry's today....

so i got a new one... get home.. install it... and guess what

IT DOESNT WORK!!!

omg .. omg omg.. does any one know why.. its it just a doa.. piece of trash... jezus... plus like 2 of the led's on it dont werk...

those things are a pretty simple install, so it's doubtfull that it's hooked up wrong, I would be making a trip back to Fry's in the morning

was there really a Hardcano 11 in a Vantec Nexus box?? that is really wack

yeah... there was a friggin hardcano 11 in the box.. bahh... im p'o'ed with fry's...

and ive tried everything to see if i set the power up wrong.. and no it was set up correctly ... i just do see how this thing is tweaked like this.. it will power my fans but only at full speed... i cannot lower the speeds... bahhh.. ima have to head back there tomorrow... ... again

Hell..I'd be tempted to bring an AT power supply, and a fan and test it right there

lol... i wish i could test right in the store... im really frustrated with the whole situation... besides that.. the fry's i was at only had the 2 black nexus' i bought today.. so that means i have to go to the other fry's althe way across town

TIP: when buying at Fry's look at the box and make sure that there isnt a tag on there saying that it is a returned item. This can save alot of headaches.

lmao kog.. yeah it has been returned.. but i thought they actually tested the sh$* i guess all they do is plug it in .. im pissed... yeah... im an idiot for buying a returned one... but there were only 2 .. the first one i bought.. and this one...

but i got the new nexUs today ... took me 3.5 hours though .. cuz i was demoted to bicycle.. bahhh... basically i had to ride all day... from downtown san jose .. to mid-cambell.. bahh im beat but this new controller looks sweet
