dont buy games on ebay...

So check this out: I buy 2 games on eBay and they both have problems. I got Doom III and it came with discs 1 & 3 but was missing disc 2. I also got Warhammer: Dawn of War, and that game was missing the serial #. People are so janky.

So anyways, I found a keygen site (I know, I shouldn't use those but I bought the game fair and square) for Dawn of War. I got that to work, and that game is okay.

Problem is, I really wanted to play Doom III. Does anyone know a way around not having disc 2? I am stumped on this one and the jerk I bought it from is not returning my emails.

Any thoughts?

Simply get your money back.

Talk to the ebay seller and demand your money back and if they don't respond, talk to paypal and get a charge back.

the only way around the disc 2 thing is to buy the game retail from a reputable vendor.

and eBay should help you get a refund on the games you did buy

yeah i am gonna try to get my money back, but the seller is a dick and he isnt returning my emails. i will prolly have to have paypal resolve it. oh well.

Talk to paypal IMMEDIATELY and get your money back.

Not a week from now.

How long has the auction been over and how long ago did you pay him?

Yep file the claim dispute with Paypal, Best part is if he doesnt reply to the emails from them in i think 7 days. then They will actually deduct the funds from his account and send them back to you . I LOVE PAYPAL>!!!! Hope if works out for you bro.

actually its sooner than 7 days. its like 1 day. just file a complaint and it automaticly takes the money out of his account and puts it on hold til the issue is resolved.
