|
|
Hi, im a friend of Josh's. Yesterday I bough a copy of World Of Warcraft. After the installation i had to install DirectX 9.0c. Upon downloading the components and going onto the main install, it popped up with a window saying 'A Cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted'. This is really frustrating now, ive spent hours trying to fix the problem.
Some light on this problem will be very greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan |

a missing cab, sounds like somehow you may have delete or remove some files from your computer. I think you maybe able to get that from your windows CD (try to see if you can serach whatever is missing with windows CD and see during installation pointing the program to instlal from CD.
If that fails, then I guess you may have to repair xp or reinstall. |

missing or curropt cab files may sounds like you have a bad download or something..
I would suggest .. deleting all the files in Temporary internet folder..
or (For IE): click Tools > Internet Options > General > Delete Files and then Delete Cookie.
then either redownload..
or find a game that has Direct X 9.0C in the CD.
