***************************************************************
(1)Sony 48x12x48 CD-R/RW drive (CRX210E1)
(1) modified Thermaltake Hardcano 10 fan controler (newegg for $20.55)
(2) 92mm Vantec Tornado 119CFM fans........ (newegg for $10.55 ea.)
(3)RadioShack Squirrle-cage style blower fans (12V 2.4W .2A ....discontinued, so I have no other specs)
***************************************************************
Great for either EXTREME computer cooling or hovercraft design!

These fans are NOT for the faint of heart. I removed them from my current system because I rebuilt with a design for better airflow.

The Hardcano controler was custom modified due to the folley of Thermaltake's ways and their insufficient circutry provided. The rotary control assembly has been completely removed in favor of two 3-position switches wired to paired 10ohm resistors for LOW-OFF-BALLS-2-THE-WALLS selections. All modifications have been done with proper care and consideration for longevity and practicality....and it still looks as TT had intended, only there are chrome toggles in the place of the knobs.

The Sony burner I purchesed at work a while back as an external drive w/o power cables. I removed the IDE drive from the USB casing and used it mostly as a CD ROM paired w/ my other Sony burner. I finally got a DVD drive so this one gets to find a new home!

The blower fans I bought and never actually used...so they HAVE NOT BEEN USED. Sandnessizer used one like them in his older system and found it worked well to cure dead air pockets that flanked some of his drives. Would work great for custom ducting.

GIVE ME AN OFFER!
I WILL ship international

(message me in the private manner or drop a post - we'll talk turkey!)

PAYPAL ONLY

ok, question on the fan controller...

I have a Vantec controller that doesn't work at all - my Tornado just burns it out as soon as I hook it up. That fan controller WILL work with the tornados? I know it;s a dumb question and the answer seems pretty obvious, but I still just want to hear you say it before I make an offer... lol

Well, no question is dumb, my son...but I did mention above that:

In short, mine also burnt out. I then removed speed control knobs and circuitry from the controller and replaced it w/ the three-speed setup that I previously described. It most definitely WILL work. I used it in my system until I rebuilt and nolonger needed that extreem of a fan. [/quote]

Alrighty folks, I get the hint. Nobody seems to want my crap.
