| My first (minor) victory! I actually modded soemthing! I have a koolance case and assembled all the stuff in it myself, but never really opened anything up and messed with it. Now I have. I replaced teh green LED in my floppy drive with a blue one. May not seem like much, but I opened something up and changed something and it worked! I think pics would be overdoing it, but I am happy now. |

haha, woot! It's a start, and more than I can legitimately say I've done.
About the most in-depth mod I've done so far was slice and dice a gray ribbon cable and wrap it up in electrical tape(guide found in the sticky on this forum), making my own rounded cable :) _________________

You've gotta start somewhere. Stick around and see if you can come up with a few ideas!

Ah, simple yet effective. Did it improve your airflow? _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

Funny.......that was my first "mod" too.....
I went a little further, and replaced the green LED's everywhere with blue, then red, until I decided what I liked.........green. What the case and drives came with in the first place. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

hey good start man.. just dont get carried away.. i had an old case and i went nuts onit.. first i cut a window in it.. next day attatched a 40mm fan to the side with LED's around.. then wired some LED's to the HDD active spot on my mobo so wehn i did things with my comp the lightsd would blink diff colors.. then i went totally insane and used highlighters to color everything on my mobo and installed a 16inch long blacklight in my case which had to be plugged into an elexeritcal outlet in the wall.. i had 3 cd drives.. 4 hard drives... added 4 more fans all over.. then poof.. powersupply started smoking and next thing i know i have no more computer coz the mobo went (asus) and took eveyrhting with it..lol so juss be carfeful
