Hi -
Good to find so much useful stuff about right click menus.
However I have a small problem which doesn't seem to be covered here. It's not life-threatening, just mildly annoying. I thought I'd add it to your list in case someone had an answer, and maybe it might help someone else in the same situation as me.
Some time ago I installed a programme called Rc-mp3. After using it for a bit I decided I didn't want it any more so I uninstalled it. That was well over a year ago. Ever since then I've been unable to delete the commands it installed on the right-click menu at the Windows Start button.
I've got rid of everything in the registry I could find with rc-mp3 on it, and there's no evidence of it anywhere else on my computer (I run on Windows Me, god help me), but nothing seems to be able to shift it from the start-menu selection.
If I accidentally click on it it brings up a DOS window and then crashes the computer. Great, innit?
