So, I'm wondering what you guys ambient room temps are, and then what your CPU temps are... And now, here's why.
MBM is reading my CPU at 47C and my case temp at 38C. This is under load...D2OL has been on for a little more than 26 hours. I believe these temps are somewhat high. I have a Xaser III (7 fans...4in 3out) and a volcano 9+ w/ AS5 (on a t-bred 2200+)...so my cooling should be covered. Now, here's the kicker...the thermometer on my wall (there specifically for this purpose ) says that my room is 25C atm.
So basically...I'm asking for you folks to post up your room temp, CPU temp, and anything else you think is necessary (heatsink, case cooling etc...) _________________

My temps are about the same as yours, 45c CPU, 33c case, in a generic mid-tower with 5 fans (3 in 2 out) and my new CoolerMaster Jet4 cooler, running D2OL all day now. Room temp is currently 68f (dunno what that is in celcius). _________________ Big enough to scare you |

ambient room is 24.3c
case temp is 33c
cpu temp is 44c
Temps are given with D2OL running 24/7 cpu 100% (2 clients)
2 case fans 120mm each (one intake, one exhaust)
And four 120mm fans on a dual 120mm radiator
with a swiftech MCW-6000 P waterblock
HYdor L-20 pump
and a Asetek reservoir.
The case fans are the SilenX 120mm 14 db and the ones on the radiator are Sunon 90 CFM on a fan controller with resistors inline to make them silent on the low setting.
Motherboard is an Abit IC-7G with a P4 3.4EE @ 3.8 ghz with a Vcore of 1.7 _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

Hmm....so what do you guys think of my temps? Are they acceptable, or should I be looking for a problem? I know that my proc isn't super hot, but it still seems like it should be lower.
Also, I know that T-bred's are known to run fairly hot... I'm gonna be getting a Barton core (2600m) in a few months. Any opinions on whether or not that'll drop the temps some? I ask because I've heard that the bartons run much cooler than the t-breds...
UPDATE:
room - 23C
case - 34C
cpu - 42C _________________

Seems right in line with the rest of us, low to mid 40's is average for an air-cooled CPU.
Well, except for last night........my heat went out late last night, and by the time I was able to get a repair guy out, my living room was 40 degrees F. Just for giggles and grins, I checked Sandra for CPU temps..........32c on my proc.
