|
|
Alright...
Asus P5P800 motherboard
Pentium 4 LGA 3.0 Ghz CPU, stock heatsink/paste
Q-Fan control is disabled, I tried using Asus Probe to put the thresholds higher but the CPU fan won't go higher than 2700-2750, and this isn't acceptable as I'm getting temperatures up to 60 C somtimes, but as low as 38 as well. How do I raise the fan RPM, I don't have a fan-control deck, do I need one?
Thanks. _________________ -Brandon |

I might be mistaken but if that's just a stock cooler/fan, I don't believe you can change the RPM of it. Stocks fans, are stuck on their highest speed I believe. _________________ Love Is Not Enough... |

Check in your bios for a Q fan or Quiet fan setting, it should be under the power or pc health section. If it is on DISABLE it, it slows your cpu fan so it runs quieter. If its already off then get a new hsf as there is no way to make a stock one run faster safely. _________________ Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock
