After beating Doom 3 I have had the urge to play the original Doom games. Well, I have Ultimate Doom, Doom II, and Final Doom but I wanted to find a way to play them without them being all buggy. To do this I found a program called Doomsday which is a engine for playing the original Doom games on Windows 9x and up. It plays the games flawlessly on my Windows XP system. Plus it has slightly improved graphic physics.
This program can be found at http://www.doomsdayhq.com/ and is a very easy program to use. I understand a lot of people probably know about it, but I was so impressed that I wanted to spread the word. _________________ AMD Athlon XP 3200+, ATI Radeon 9800pro, Antec True Power 430W, Abit NF7-S 2.0 motherboard, Soundblaster Audigy 2, Windows XP |

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. When I installed Ultimate doom, I first burned each of the one meg floppy disks onto CDs using my moms computer because I don't have a floppy drive on my computer. It's so funny using up 1 meg of a 700 meg CD. _________________ AMD Athlon XP 3200+, ATI Radeon 9800pro, Antec True Power 430W, Abit NF7-S 2.0 motherboard, Soundblaster Audigy 2, Windows XP |
