Ok first of all hi to everybody, im new so be patient with me!!

the data!!: im overclocking with the fixed agp/pci funcion, the ramm/procesor ratio is at 1:1, fsb is at 250. cpu vcore: 1.575, dram voltage: 2.8 and the timins are 3/7/4/4

the problems!

im geting quite high temps: 55ºc - 58ºc is the working temp (do you reckon thats a little too high considering its only at 250 fsb) the thermal paste and the h/s are deffinatley set up properly (ive checked both various times)

the other problem im getting is that im having to run the memory with those timings, and im sure they can be brought down, is this correct?

the fianl problem for know is that apparently my mobo undervolts, so i cant get the memoy voltage higher than 2.75 real or 2.8 by bios.

maybe some one can help me out with these issues!

thanx very much

No worries,

Is the 55-58 temperature when under full load or at idle?

Yeps 55-58 is under full load (air temp is still about 28ºc around, that might also be keaping it up)

Those temps are not bad at all and completely normal.

If you want to overclock more, drop your divider to 5:4 and you will be able to get much higher.

Or even if you want to extreme overclock, drop it to 3:2.

Remember, just because it is rated at 2.9 doesn't mean you have to use it.

I overclocked to 3.6volts on 2.8volts so don't think if you jack the voltage up more that you can get a huge difference in overclocking.

ok, ive been to the abit page and there are various bios revisions, the question is:

is there any prblem with instlaing all of the revisions? or is it best to just install tne revisions with the features that could be interesting for me? what i really meen is: will i mess up the bios if i install too many updates?

I don't know if this question has been asked in the forums, it probably has. The last time I built a machine 2 and a half years ago there were no memory dividers. Sorry for my stupid question, but what are the memory timings and memory dividers? I have not seen an explanation of them and don't really know what they are.
thanks a lot
