Im kinda new to OC. The only thing I have ever OCd is a GPU. I want to change that. I have a old P4 1.9g that runs at 1.89 which angers me. I have been warned by some though that Dells make there comps so you cannot OC the RAM or CPU. I have also been told that to remove these safty implements would almost surely destory the M.B. I was just wondering if anyone knew weather I could OC my Dell. sence this is a site for OCs Im hoping I can get some good info.

SoftFSB is a great program and will overclock your system a bit. Use it to get a little more punch out of your stock box.

I DLd a program like that but it would not work right on my system. Just after installing it and trying to run it my system started getting rather warm and 3dBM went down meaning that my computer did not like it at all.

You will have to understand that your system will get warmer with the overclock.
