|
|
I flashed my bios and regret it big time. I got my system to boot up but it does not detect the onboard soundcard. Also it sais it is a 550a mhz and 112 mb ram when before I did it, it was 800 mhz and 128 ram. Im a newbie and shouldnt even have done it cause i wasnt realy having any problems before I did it. The only reason I did is cause I was on the manufacturers website downloading updated drivers and seen an updated bios with the same numbers on it and how to do it so I did it. I didnt even think twice of what i was doing and didnt realize what a bios flash was.
Is there anyway I can fix this? Ive already tried reformating and reinstalling windows. It still does not even know there is a soundcard. I also had to get a new modem because it didnt recognize the onboard one thats in there. Could it have been the wrong bios update? It had the same model numbers M756t+ from pcchips.com
Thanks in advance

what motherboard is this?
as for your cpu and ram, you can go into the bios on startup and set that manually.
(press Delete or some other key combination on startup - it should appear on your screen during post.) _________________ i'm the fool, he's the fanboy. together we are Fanboy and Fool... Tweaknews Reviewers |

No matter what board it is, after yuo flash it, yuo will have to reset everything, its like clearing your CMOS. If yuo have clocked it before, yuo will have to redo that, if you have enabled OR disabled something, yuo will have to redo that as well.
Basically you have to do everything to the BIOS again if yuo want it the way it was before yuo flashed it. |
