OK, I'll be leaving on my trip to Audtralia/New Zealand in two days. The only electrical device I plan to bring with my is my Game Boy (Advance SP)
On Nintendo's website(I did my own search first!) I found this http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/general/rechargeable_international.jsp So now, what I want to know, I guess...is where can I get a step-down transformer? Radio Shack? or do I need to wait until I'm in Australia to get one? _________________

Exactly, rather than get one just for your gameboy, buy the international adapter from Radio Shack.
*Sigh*, the good ole' days when I used to work there. _________________ Owner & Administrator

OK, we got an adapter thign...but it has 2 settings, low and high.
Low = 0-25 watts
High = 26-1875 watts
My device doesn't have a wattage listed however What is does say is:
50/60Hz 7VA
320mA
Anyway, thanks If I don't get any answers before I go, I'll just try the low setting first and if it doesn't work, then the high one, _________________

Hold on ! that converter is for 220V (europe) Australia uses 240V same as the UK. make sure the converter will be ok on 240V. It will be converting to 240V into 120V which should'nt be a problem for 110V stuff, but the converter might pop a fuse if it's too high.
Just a heads-up
