No no, its still more james bond. macguyver would ahve built the whole pc out of a calculator, an open phone line, and a knowledge of mainstream music - or is that "Short Circuit?"

Actually I used to hang about in some of the roboics newsgroups a few years ago, I found out all sorts of stuff and props seen in some of the movies. The robots seen in the film, most of them were the SAME robot. Only 3 robots were built, only one was fully functional. the others were a simple prop and a "waist" half up robot for the close ups (as I recall, it was a while ago). The guy who built J5 said that he robot was destroyed at the end of the film, they really did blow up the fully functioning robot. The second film needed a new robot built, seems he was a little bigger for some reason, but not as complex or as complete as the original. Had some interesting conversations with guys who worked at the Jim Henson "Creature shop".
