Hi, im new to case modding so i hope you people can help me.
I have a Thermaltake Xaser lanfire, and i would like to know about the following things.

- Cable sleeving
- How to connect my fans effectivly
- And other ways i can mod my case.

Welcome to Tweaknews! Stick around, you'll learn a lot.
That post on sleeving is extremely helpful, as I'm sure you've realized. There are alternatives to traditional cable sleeving, as well... plastic tubing, heatshrink sleeving, etc... but we can cover all that later. what do you mean by connecting your fans "effectively"? Btw, what are your system specs? The more you tell us about what you're working with, the more we can help =]
Also, please try to post in the appropriate section. I summon the mods!

Sorry im such a noob,

But my specs are-

2.8 prescott
512mb of dual ddr400 (is this any good?)
Gigabyte GA-8ipe775-g
Ge cube radeon 9800xtreme
Seagate 200gig sata
2 cd drives and a floppy.

Any way i have just hopefully purchased a vantec cable sleeving kit (blue), a sunbeam led fan grille (no finger's or fury animals jamming my fans up

) a pack of uv (blue) ,molex connectors and looking for 2 9cm blue led fans (hard to get

)
any way i will let you pplz know how i go.

Good, work....can still be improved upon believe it or not...but i bet you are noticing a good drop in temperatures.

I have no internet at home for atleast a week, We just moved house

, So i gotta make it quick. I hopefully have a blue (counterstrike) fan grille, a blur vantec cable sleeving kit and a pack of 10 uv molex connectors (i orderd from 3 states away so i dont know when they will come in (hopefully tommorow).
i will post my new cable sleeved computer some time next week, Meanwhile can some1 give me suggestions for cable sleeving please.
Greatly appreciative (cant speel) for any suggestions.

Woah, looks like you need a little cable management

Is it just me or does the new prescott cooler look a little dangerous? Is there any type of shroud around that fan?

JW, that's what I am rockin on my NEW P4 system....it just screams "MANAGE CABLES OR PERISH".....

....Sandnessizer opted for a heatpipe w/better cooling/SAFETY...he'll post pictures soon enough

Well here are dene's new pics, I'm posting and hosting them on his behalf because he's gone on holiday for 2 weeks. Should have internet access though when he's on holiday so he'll hopefully post.
I've resized them and played about with the quality settings, trust me you want see the difference between originals and these yet the sizes are so much smaller. Anyways, enjoy!

Hope you like 'em, and my resizing skills.
