Is it required for Dual DDR to O/C 2.4c?
I have a ABIT IS7-E
WITH 1x512MB CORSAIR VS

IM REALLY LOST
CAN I O/C TO 3.0 SAFELY? THANKZ

Well,

It would be pointless to run a 2.4c without it and you will lose half of the memory performance.

You need a dual channel kit period.

not if the RAM module is of such quality to reach the desired FSB.

sure....but as mentioned...memory throughput would be less then dual channel, and your perormance numbers would not be the same as others have achieved. So do not expect simlar results unless using the same hardware.
and as mentioned so many times b4..not all chips are equal....you could have a chip that may not OC even WITH the dual channel.
