I havent played it much over the weekend for the reason i dont want to finish it so quickly, personally, i am dissapointed that it is SO short

No doubt i love it as well as CS, but i really thought it would be longer.

It may be short, but at least its not as predictable as d3. It'll be a miracle if i ever try to finish that game.

Saw blades for sure. It's great fun when you saw a little slice off the top of someones head. And you can shoot the crows too!!

I am at the part where I am riding the boat and come up the the end where there is the second ramp. But the front of it is up and you have to use somekind of counter weight to jump the wall. Am I supposed to somehow use the barrels? I've been at this for an hour!!

Nevermind, i figured it out. I think i've been playing too long. All i had to do was place the barrels in the cage under the ramp so the buyouncy force would lift it up.

I entered Black Mesa East, got scanned, walked with a woman wearing a white sweater to an elevator and I cant go anywhere from there. She doesn't enter the elevator and the buttons wont responce to the use key,

The area is really small and it would be hard too miss anything, but I guess I must have.

Any ideas?

She just walked me in and showed me around...I kept trying to uses the "use" button, but she didn't seem interested.

Seriously, you may want to go back a save or two, sounds like somethings weird. Cause she just takes you in and opens the door and stuff without any real help.

Yeah, something buggy there.....you just follow her and wait for the chat between her and alyx to end...which is about 10 minutes of gameplay from where you are.

yeah im at the same spot as Lakota67 where she just stops the conversation and doesnt do anything. almost like the AI was disabled or something. If anyone can give a suggestion or fix that would be much appreciated.

The same thing happened to me when you first meet Alyx and have to get into the elevator. For some reason I couldn't move my character and when I restarted the game at the last save it was fine.

I assume this is what you'de have to do too.

I also hav a problem, im stuck on the boat part, i destroy the heli, pass the damb, get off the boat in black mesa east, get in the small room wid 2 cam's, lazer scanners or wat ever, and wen they finish... nothing, both doors closed and nothing happens, wat to do???

I Haven't had this problem, and I'm on my third run, the only prob I had was my Key Bindings got a little whack.
don't know about the A.I. thing...didn't know it could BE disabled, I'm going to go look right now

i am driving the boat witht the machine gun mode, it looks as tho i am at a dead end with a ramp in back of a fenced off area. i finally got behind the fenced off area but i cant jump across to the pipe on the other side. is this the wrong way. i have not seen another way and i have been trying to jump across to that pipe for a hour now. oh ya, right before i realized about the pipe i had to kill the two missile launchers and there is 2 old tug boats in the small bay.

A.I. dissables all npc's, every1 is standing doing nothing: guarsd, helis flying in 1 place, and the worst part that npc's like barnie and stuff like that r dissabled also

for every one who has lost Ai.
Run console and write "ai_resume"
to resume the ai. If this doesnt work then u have to reinstall.

never mind i got out. i guess i was driving to fast and hitting the wall above cuz i slowed down and went right thru. now im in some old cave with all those badass spider crabs.

erm... the console in the game?, well if so it doesent open wid the key " ` "
i downloaded this full version from an ftp and its not related in anyway wid steam, so is it supposed to hav a console widout steam or theres another key?
