will my rig run hl2 on high q graphics... 9800p 2.5ghz amd ddr400...

yes,hl2 isnt a very demanding game...it will RUN on most low end system,and besides,your systems good anyway

fer shizzle dingus... just makin sure what about doom 3... sorry i havent been able to get these new games cuz my ma had me arrested and what ever,,, live with my dad now and he's a cheap ass even though he has a 51" hd tv in his bedroom...sorry im just p'o'ed. ... ye me want those games and i want to make sure that i can have the eye candy

yep should run great on your 9800, on my 9600xt i run 1024x768 high graphics with 2xAA and it plays perfectly.

No prob at all with those specs.

The most demanding game out at the moment is Far Cry.

Yup yup. HL2 was MADE with the 9600 and 9800 series in mind.
Note that inside the BEEFY brand computers (in CS source) is an ATI card (with the gpu on the wrong side)

Well..null set, you might try it on that 9000, it seems to be a very forgiving game, I have it on my second rig, and it runs pretty well on the FX 5500 I have in there (800 X 600 med quality), it only hitches a little right after loading a level, but not during action at all

i have a p4 2.53ghz 512mb PC2100 ram and a stock 9800pro and it runs fine on 1024*768 with no aa or af and all settings on high.
