So I tried to use the insulation that's for copper pipes to get air from the outside into the intake fan on my X-Dreamer case. Well, it may look good but it didn't work. I need to get a more powerful fan or something. Here are some pictures of the setup:

try shortening the insulation. That might help more than a more powerful fan. The shorter the route, the less force it will take. you could also try a combination with a smaller diameter.

I would shorten the tubing, and but a higher fan on the intake side.

2 other things you may want to consider.

Do you have anyway of protecting it form debris, like leaves and crap

Possibly run a tornado to the outside/other end of the insulation.
