CS: Source anyone?

Just been playing CS: Source online, and it's great fun - much like the original only with improved graphics. Maps have been completely re-done and everything looks sexy. But you already knew that.... I did the stress test for the source engine, all settings maxed out and got 104fps average.
So, has anyone else played this here, and if you have which servers do you play on? Let's meet up and play... or I could try hosting a server for us TN'ers.
Source engine and Doom engines have both blown me away and so has my 6800gt.

I'm one happy camper....

[no pun intended]

Oh, one thing tho, some maps are missing for some reason - for example the militia map that I really enjoy.

yeah totally, we should play, this game is so dial up friendly, i usually get a ping of 300-400, and i play with essentially minimal lag. I love the way it looks. and they even made using your own tags easy. I play on 1024x768 on high with 2xAA and game looks dead sexyful.

Count me in! FYI, the 9700pro and 2.4ghz mobile chip on the epox wit 1gb CVS got 68 FPS in the stress test.

CS: Source comes with HL2

There are different packages that you can buy....

Bronze: Normal version (HL2 + HL2:DM + CS:Source)
Silver: HL2 + CS:Source + HL1:Source + DoD:Source
Gold: HL2 + CS:S + HL1:S + DoD:S + couple of goodies like T-shirts and posters

Pretty much like that.

source sucks it has too many hackers too many bugs too little good maps and there is no competition, the hitbox are so crazy its soo easy to kill someone, my first time playing source i went 25-2 on a pub, after that i quit becasue untill there is some bug fixes and a competition mod due later there year i wont play, CS 1.6 is where its at.

VAC comes out in a couple of weeks....will get rid of the hackers, and with it being a patch, almost certainly fix a fair few bugs.

As for the stress test now.....all high 1280 * 1024 16* AS 6* AA @ 98.5 fps....is that good
