I want to buy a card that allows me to watch my Digital Satellite on my computer. however i cant find a good vid card. i have been looking at the ATI all in wonder, however in the specs it says it only supports up to 125 channels. my satellite has various channels all over 500+ channels! does this matter? will it still work or am i SOL? can anyone help? |

Okay first off........ why are you posting in large type?
Second off.... your TV can't handle the 500+ channels either. That's why you have the reciever box. It decodes the channels and sends the stream into the TV on Channel 3. So yes... the All in Wonders will let you do the same thing. You just have to change channels on the reciever box instead of the computer. IF the receiver isn't in the same room you can pick up some doohickey's at radioshack for 49.99 that let you use the remote in your room and still change the channel on the box. _________________ __________[(Crayola)]>_____________

Through satellite you will be using the dish descambler to change the channels and not the TV.
So just like your normal TV, you set it to channel 3 or 4 and use your satellite remote to change the channels. _________________ Owner & Administrator
