Well after alot of quiet pondering ive decided to tame my computer cables and here she is before:
dont be frightened,
and after about 3 hours of cleaning and mastering the skill of balancing cheetos in one hand and cabling in the other here she is! the innerds of frankenstein (or Punisher 2.0)
after:
its not as great as some of the work you guys have done, but as you can see its a HUGE improvement, I still have to add my last fan in the back and the 2 in the front, but i have it set up so it shant be to hard. I used about 100 zip ties on this project |

behind the mobo is your friend... out of sight out of mind.
the atx connectors over the heatsink so it doesn't block the northbridge
for the ide, and floppies i'ld get shorter cables, only what i need.
if you can manage it, try to put the cathode power thingy (inverter?) in a slightly better place, in a corner, or against an edge.
the wire you have running all the way down and around, see if you can stick it in the corners, or under the mobo.
all i can think of right now... |

I'd say get some adhesive velcro all over that problem and stick that block under your HD's or somewhere in that vicinity.
Also, because all is easier said than done and I have a far worse problem that I am simply too lazy to deal with myself, perhaps consider routing some fo your IDE's and power for your drives on the back side of the drives themselves so as to be outa sight....
KUDOS on getting those cables in line! _________________ |¤| |

That looks much much better than before. Kudos to you. If only there was a way to clean up those cables and wires around those nasty hdd's and cdroms
The only way to really do that would be to shorten them like Meobius said. _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

You can get away with putting most of your zip-tied wires behind your drive bays if you disconnected your IDEs to get the back there. Other than that.... looks great man. MAJOR improvement.. Did your case temp drop at all? _________________ "....Or as almost every word in a sentence; Tweak the tweaking tweakers!"

A little tip for you all...use some plastic tubing that you can find at your local hardware store. Its the kind that splits down the middle, it will clean everything up and greatly reduce cable tie usage, while increasing airflow!!!! yaaahoo |
