well, you will need a modem on both comuters (obviously) and on the DSL connected computer you will need a seperate phone line, depending on the type of DSL service you have. After that, all you need to set up is a dial up networking connection on your computer and something like RAS on the other. Not sure about being able to share the internet access though, you will probably need to set up some sort of roouting capability on the DSL machine (ther server). This will only be easy to set up if the other machine is running a server OS which has all this stuff built in. The ICS (internet connection sharing) Might be able to do this, it has NAT (network address translation)support. If you connect using DUN (dial up networking) over a PPP (maybe a PPTP?) connection, then you *might* be able to connect up to the internet from the DSL.

You can connect the machines for local resources by using DUN, check the MS help topic:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/139710/EN-US/

I'm guessing you want to do this because you can get cheap / free calls to your home address. I'm not sure if that will work, generally it's voice calls only, the Telco will have ways to detect a data connection and you will probably be charged the full rate for the call.

Really need much more information to be able to help.
