|
|
I was just wondering if anyone knew how to exract the audio off of a PS2 game. I'm trying to get the radio stations from San Andreas. On the PC version of Vice City I was able to extract the stations and then convert them to MP3's. But I don't know what to use for PS2 cds. I've been looking around the net and can't find crap. Anyone know how I could do this?

I dont think its possible.
The best way would be to hook up your PSU to an Audio system and record it the slow way then transfer it to your comp. _________________ »4 RS«»1Ж «»1 DENE«»1 FREAKIN LAME OH«»1 MONEY MONEY«

Anyway . . .
are you referring to 'hacking' the game and replacing the sound files? If so, i think FTR is on the right track with the dvd drive concept.
Do you happen to know what sound format each GTA uses? Are they the same? _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

A type of music file. You may be able to find plug-ins that will allow you to listen to it or convert it on your PC. Hopefully SA has the same sound format and they are completely interchangeable. _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

I don't wanna replace the audio, that would be to much work. I just want to find a way to convert them to mp3s. I ripped the audio sectiong of the cd to my hard drive and all the files are .PAK. I got pakscape that said it would unzip pak files but it gives me an error everytime..
Hmm well I was just messing around with pakscape and tried to open other .PAK files from my Far Cry demo and it gives me the same error. I thought San Andreas would have some kind of encryption but guess my pakscape just sucks. If anyone has anything else that will open .PAK files lt me know. Thanks. _________________ Love Is Not Enough... |

Yeah I have/am. My net is slow as hell so I always procrastinate when it comes to stuff I acctually. For example, by the time my download is finished for the new video drivers new ones are out _________________ Love Is Not Enough... |
