HL2 held hostage?

I stole the title from this webpage.

It seems that Valve and VUG are having some arguments. They are currently stuck in court. Valve is trying to pressure VUG to release the game within the next 6 months!!
Its an interesting, THOUGH ANGERING, read.

yeah all that is stupid.

Valve wants VUG to release the game now, but VUG has UPTO 6 months to release it. If VUG doesnt do it before that point they have to at that point otherwise they will be breaking their contract with Valve. Which could end up in my lawsuits. That is the last thing this game needs it more lawyers involved. Maybe thats what needs to replace the aliens in the game is lawyers!! Or maybe a nice juicy D3 mod to take out a few lawyers, I mean after all they are hellspawn.

This is getting stupid now...at this rate they will be charging £60 + for the game if they keep hiring all these bloody lawyers and accountants!
