Ok, so fun story. JW and I had a desire for some StarCraft BW...but due to complications w/ Battle.Net, we had to find another way. Because this game doesn't support TCP/IP connections and we don't have a 200mile crossover cable, I sent Josh a copy of PCANYWHERE which he installed on a system on his network and gave him my CD KEY. JW set up a UDP LAN game and I joined. Because he could see my every move on his other monitor, we pretty much had to be allied so we did so against some computer players. An hour and a half later, we had conquered the computer players and quelled our thirst for Brood War.

Any Ideas on how to make this more complex....b/c I'm game!

This could work for the BBQ....if anyone has a room w/ a dozen or so decent computers networked on a highspeed connection.,........we can play RED ALERT, STARCRAFT, TOTAL ANIHILATION, ETC....

This was an experience to say the least. Anytime Sally experienced too much lag to play the game, i would just take over for him. I could have really messed up his game but he was doing a good enough job of that already

It would be way to complicated to make it more complicated.
Does anyone know how to get around that 'host's latency is too high to join' or whatever error? It seems to be a windows xp problem. Oh well.

If anyone else is up for starcraft through pcAnywhere and don't mind horrible image quality, i can sure host again.

You can also use Windows' Remote Desktop Connection or Remote Assistance. Remote Desktop Connection will give you better image quality but I don't know whether any of these will work with a game.

Maybe if we get a dial up host (Yoshida ) we can play without having that latency problem. Lets do it!

As stated above... I want to play!!! Maybe WarCraft III though.. I like the better intergrated tech tree as well as the need to get on the move fast.

Warcraft 3 would probably be more fun to play but unfortunately I don't have it and have never played it

Does anyone else have it? You guys can all play together.
