Your input requested...

I have been pondering a SwiftTech Radbox (www.swifttech.com)to install on the outside of my case, however it doesn't exactly fit the purpose I wanted. Let me explain. I would like to have a dual 120mm fan setup that is mounted via brackets externally with a 120mm X 240 mm radiator, such that it would not interfere with the case fans that are mounted on the back. The RadBox actual uses the casefan exhaust portals (which is warm air) in lieu of using cool external air.

So looking for alternatives to mount the radiator with fans such that the hot air exhaust from both the case fans and the water colling blow towards and/or converge on each other. Note: I am really not to crazy about hte Koolance products.

Appreciate your input everyone.....

Thanks

I am using a radiator or those same specs. What I have done is mounted the radiator on its side vertically on the top of the case. I am also using a total of four 120mm fans in a push-pull config. What I used to make the brackets was 0.090" lexan that I got at Home Depot. And using a propane torch I heated it so I was able to make the angles. I know the torch isnt the ideal tool for this but it was what I had. The next time I do this kind of thing I am going to get a heatgun (also available at Home Depot).

You may be able to use something similar to mount the radiator to the back of the case.
