Is it possible to view satelite channels with the ATI AIW 9700 Pro multi-media software and card? I have found very little help on the ATI website. Maximum channels seems to be 125.

This is my first multi-media video card. I may have chosen the wrong card.

Any help is appreciated.

when you are viewing any sateliite, you are not using the TV to turn the channels are you? Nope.

All you do is set the TV software to channel 3 or 4 and change the channels via the satellite remote control like any other normal livingroom system.

i connected mine to the cable that's coming into my house for my cable modem (split the channel), thinking it would essentially be like a pair of rabbit ears, or maybe it would unlock more channels, but i only got four channels and they were fairly fuzzy. but i don't have cable tv, i've got satellite, so my next step is trying to splice the channel from the dish...
