Is it possible to view satelite channels with the ATI AIW 9700 Pro multi-media software and card? I have found very little help on the ATI website. Maximum channels seems to be 125.
This is my first multi-media video card. I may have chosen the wrong card.
Any help is appreciated. |

when you are viewing any sateliite, you are not using the TV to turn the channels are you? Nope.
All you do is set the TV software to channel 3 or 4 and change the channels via the satellite remote control like any other normal livingroom system. _________________ Owner & Administrator

i connected mine to the cable that's coming into my house for my cable modem (split the channel), thinking it would essentially be like a pair of rabbit ears, or maybe it would unlock more channels, but i only got four channels and they were fairly fuzzy. but i don't have cable tv, i've got satellite, so my next step is trying to splice the channel from the dish... _________________ i'm the fool, he's the fanboy. together we are Fanboy and Fool...
