So I just picked up an iBook....... for pretty much free. (I traded for a Automotive Entertainment Console which I got by trading....... etc.)

NOw I just have to figure out how to get the damn thing to get on the net. At one point it had iTunes and all that stuff but now it seems to think it doens't. So that's odd. But once I get it up and running it should be happy.

ANyone know anything about these things?

Yup..... been looking around, think I figured out the internet problem. I need to talk to Adelphia tomorrow and get all of the necessary information and get myself entered into their databases.

I just posted in the Apple forums about the disappearing iTunes and other issues I'm having and hopefully it'll help. *L*

So.......

Edit: How do you OC one of these things? (After reading Nathan's impassioned plea, I would like to point out that in now way shape or form do I actually expect anyone to walk me through such a thing. I also don't think it's possible. )

Well I'm typing this from the iBook. I've gotten the net up as you can see, I've got iTunes up and running and soon I should have a DVD player running. I've found that it apparently is possible to OC a Mac and as soon as I fiigure out how that works I will post it.

I've only been able to find proof of overclocking the Blue and White g3s. Apparently near the processor they had/have a jumper block. On this jumper block is a "Removing this sticker voids your warranty" which when removed leaves little silver voids. *rolls eyes* But by using different jumper configurations you can boost your system up pretty quckly. Most are only able to get a 100 or 150 mhz bump before going unstable but going from 250 to 350 isn't bad for a voided warranty and twenty minutes of work..... *L*
