Ok, this seems like it might be easier than post each item every time I decide to part with something.
What I am going to do is list all of the items that I have for sale in this top post (as long as I can continue to edit it)...and here they will stay until either sold or disposed of. Also as always, the items are for sale locally, so if a friend buys it and you then ask for it prior to my being able to update...then please undersatnd.
All prices are US$ & buyers pay a shipping unless specified. 48 Contiguous only.

This item is being put back into service soon for use as a file/media server.
Asus P5A Full ATX MOBO with goodies!
This package includes RAM, video, possibly a couple of games and 2 processors! yup, 2 CPUs with one HSF.
(1)K6-2 500
(1)K6-2 300
RAM is 256MB PC133 (2X128)
Video is an 8MB SIS AGP card.
I am now also including a PCI NIC as well (3COM Etherlink XL PCI 3C900-TPO)
This board was and still is one of my favorites of all time...this thing is rock solid and has never given me a problem....ever! If it weren't for the lack of an extra case, I would keep this board myself.
Until recently, this board was my "main server" machine where I kept all of my important info, whereas I played games and stuff on others.
Here is a link to the manual for this board so that you may see it's features.
http://www.asus.com/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=P5A
I still have the paperback book and box for this board in great shape.
My price for the bundle is 100.00USD (free basic shipping) unless you want some priorty shpping or insurance.
This price is both firm and fair when considering the package as a whole (150.00+ shipping, priced separately).
HOWEVER, as always...I might be open to a reasonable trade of some sort.
Please use the links I provide, or do your own research on the items to avoid you being delayed in getting answers to any basic questions.
Otherwise, feel free to PM me.

Case question:
If made available.....would there be any interest in a Proliant case like the one seen in the thread "so it begins"...?
This case would have redundant 500W power supplies. It is pretty large in size, 18"Hx13"Wx28"D and weighs about 99LBS.
From all that I have observed with these....there is an abundance of potential here.
A Dual Slot1 MOBO, keyboard , mouse, Floppy and CDROM will be inculded.
Possibly a few more parts...maybe. I am testing them, cleaning them and boxing them for shipment.
But I am looking for an offer of 225.00 to recoup my expenses.
The cost of two 500+W power supplies alone would in most instances be at least this much. |

what kinda mobo is it in the case DMW? Is it too far to ship to Edmonton, Alberta? . For that case, i'd pay you 230-240 plus shipping if you want. I just need a server pretty bad now..linux on a PC..NORMAL PC..isn't doing well..lol.. how would you like me to pay? And when is the possession date if possible? |
