Need RAM for new computer

I'm building my first computer and am looking at AMD 2600 mobile processor and abit NF7-S motherboard, what RAM would you recommend?

Are u going to overclock? I suggest a good name brand of ram like Corsair or Kingston perhaps to spend a little less, try to get a gig, 2x512 of the same exact kind so u can run dual channel.

Yeah what he said^^^^ Make sure it is DDR 400 (pc3200) if you are going to overclock.

Crucial Ballistix PC3200 2-2-2-5 is some of the best stuff out at the moment.
Or OCZ, Corsair, Kingston, Mushkin, or GeIL. But as they have said get a cual channel kit.

This is a memory question. Please post it in the Motherboards and memory section. There is a reason for it here.

pc3200 is a must but get pc3700 if you want to overclock. Kingston, Corsair, Geil, and OCZ seem to do well but like Weaz said, Crucial isn't too bad either. I would also recommend buffalo tech ram if it has the windbond chips.
