Hmmm, I just checked out that link and it gave me an idea, what about using one of those flexy roll-up keyboards that do the rounds at lan parties and fit it with a lenght of flexable Neon tube that you can get in car accessory shops (thank you "the fast and the furious"). both are completly flexable and can still be roled up. plus the ones I've seen are all a clear PVC type plastic so the keys should also light up. could fix it with velcro to a strip of Perspex (plexi glass) if you want a more conventional "stiff" keyboard. Plus the keys are wipe clean, handy if you watch too much porn

Heheh, I had a 50KV shock once, that Really sucked! landed 5ft from where I was standing (old lab equip of mine).
And I once blew myself up, NEVER try to seal a pipe bomb with a hammer, I spent a nice few days hooked up to drips and painkillers while they removed the shrapnel, left part blind in one eye :) I was only 15 then!
I'm 27 and I lernned al this stuf 'cos I is a genius (sea abouve four proof).
heh, I mess around with electronics a lot, built robots out of old laptop and PC parts. I just have a knack for making this stuff work. I have a strange way of recalling the weirdest of stuff I've picked up while reading or experimenting.
If you have a prob, I probably already got somthing on it. :)
Ok now that I probably scared you all off, I'm harmless, just got WAY too much free time to play with this stuff

50KV? Ha. I've been hit by 75KV. There was very little current running through it but it still hurt (distributer for a smallblock). _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

I got blasted by a crt once, I forgot to discharge it Other than the burns it was kinda cool, I got zapped, knocked out and woke up like an hour later thinking I had just fallen over and gotten back up. The good thing was that by the time I woke up the burns didn't hurt as much _________________ Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock

Yeah kinda similar to what I did, the Z axis control on my VALVE powered ociliscope is directly beneath the high tension line of the CRT tube, I was lazy and stuck my hand in the back without looking, BUZZZZZZZZZZ BANG! spent 10Mins on the floor whispering / croaking ARRGHH OOH OW! my arms were a bit numb too, so I could'nt get up. I just floundered around on the floor.
Mind you, I was once working on a striped down Laser printer in a office, Some retarded gimp of an office manager walked in and said "whats this plug out for?" and stuck it in the outlet before I could say anything........BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ 250V AC straight up my arm! I chased that guy around the room with a ball pein hammer!

This happened to me when i was working on my old amplifier..........got 110v AC pumped through me for about 4 seconds........i had the unit plugged in but the power strip turned off........when i was switching the voltage jumper from european to american, i bent one of the pins inside this little area, just about enough for a toothpick and a paperclip, where the jumper was to return.......needless to say as i had this bent paperclip shoved inside this little tiny hole......bridging the circuit of course........and balancing the unit on the edge of the 19" rack it was screwed into, my mom came downstairs and flicked on the strip.....i didnt even heear her come down the staris......i was too frustrated by this point....lol
so of course, as not NOT drop the amp on the floor from about 5 feet........i had to
lift the amp back to a balanced position before i could drop the the floor........i was smoking
i got yelled at for "almost causing a fire"
lol
.....explains a LOT doesnt it?.....=] _________________

LMAO. This reminds me of a time where I had a novelty shock pen. I would walk around asking people to draw me a picture of a fish, a bird, and an airplane. When they clicked the pen it would shock them. I would then laugh and tell them I had the record for holding it down the longest . . . 1 min 15 seconds. (I really didn't) It was hilarious to watch them try to hold it down for as long as they could. I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life.
Try it, Its hilarious.
