Ok guys today i found a few more fans, i open up my front panel, found soem screws stuck the fans in the front for intake, and made the back exhaust...i feel proud i made my very first mod :) and if i can find more fans or i order then, i will cut 1 or 2 side fan holes and cut a blowhole to keep my CPU cool....
my new Temps:
Mobo: 48C(118F) dropped the temp about 20C on this
CPU: 26C(79F) dropped ALOT im nto sure how much i think about 40C
AUX:35C(95F)
I think these are reasonable temps for my case and just adding those fans...i am very proud of myself :)
i plan on moding this case alot more and making it a pimp machine(besides the hardware)painting it...adding a window, i dont think im gonna get a new case anymore :) im glad i tried this before i ordered a new one. _________________ HAD TO GET RID OF MY SIG BECAUSE THE OTHER ONE WAS TOO LEET (FILESIZE LMAO!)

That is amazing, just for adding 2 fans, there must of been something horribly wrong in your case before _________________ »4 RS«»1Ж «»1 DENE«»1 FREAKIN LAME OH«»1 MONEY MONEY«

Sure that CPU temp is correct. I don't know what your ambients are but my CPU is warmer than that when it's off.
Really though, now your MB is warmer than the rest, blowhole will be handy. _________________ .

sounds like he is having tons of fun with his current case. And it is always much more fulfilling to take some POS and make it into something that really performs! And then you can say "hey I did it all on my own (with a little help from the guys at TN)"
good job on it so far and keep up the good work!!
what are you using to check the temps? _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

I think something isnt right somewhere with those HUGE fluxuations in temperatures.
I suggest you re-install your software for temps, then try reseating your heat sink, something aint right. _________________ »4 RS«»1Ж «»1 DENE«»1 FREAKIN LAME OH«»1 MONEY MONEY«

LMAO. I always think the same thing as you and scroll down only to read my thoughts.
The cpu being cooler than the ambient and mobo temp does not seem very logical.
Uninstall your old temperature monitor program and reinstall the latest version. _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

MedTek. I am not sure I understand. You said you think that your CPU temps are lower by 40c after installing fans?
Also I would be careful when adding more fans. I believe it is possible to add too many fans. Also placing fans in the wrong locations in your case could create problems with your "new good air flow." Just a thought. Good luck. |

^^ I would like to elaborate a little on this one...
With a lot of fans, you can have an very nice flow of air that can keep your temps down a lot.. especially if your room temp is generally cold. However, as sated above, you can also end up being counter-productive with too many fans in the wrong place. There a coupl of thigns to keep in mind when goig fan crazy. They are as follows:
Voltages:
Make sure your PSU is going to be able to handle everything in your case. (Lights, fans, mobo, drives, etc....)
Air Flow:
If you have 2 intake fans in the front adn 1 or 2 on the side pannel, make sure you have the same as, if not 1 more than, the number of intake fans you have. So in the example given, 2 or 3 exhausts in the back and a blowhole will suit you perfectly. Combined with your main SPU fan you should be keeping good temps. However, If you have something like 2 exhausts in the back and 1 on the side and another in the blowhole and only 2 intakes, you are not going to really achieve any air flow. The currents will be pulling in too many different directions. So even though more exhaust than intake is important, you want to make sure that there is not TOO MUCH of a difference. Only that is in the exhaust's favor.
Placement:
If you have one fan blowing directly into another fan that is facing it, obviously you aren't going to get yourself anywhere. The best thing to aim for is one solid current. Immagine if you could see the way the air si moving.. you basically want to have one current moving into the computer from one or two places, and exiting quickly across from where its coming in. Although in the case of the side intake fan(s), the blowhole is their ideal exit.
Either or... good job on the mod man, Keep up the good work and post some pics next time! =P _________________ "....Or as almost every word in a sentence; Tweak the tweaking tweakers!"
