| I have yet to figure out why, however I have had a HD problem (stupidity on my end) and I had to format my HD again, before the second format my cd-roms were detecting things and autoplaying fine, but now it never updates the info or autoplays. I'm using windows XP, is there anything I need to do in bios? Is this also a common problem since my older comp won't detect either and I'm formatted and recovered quite a few times on that pc. Oh I have a samsung DVD rom and samsung cdrw both connected to IDE. |

the problem was that somehow my autorun was turned off, I just had to turn it on in the registry, good stuff. |
