| hey ham, i dont suppose that u could post a pic or some instructions with the usb cord... how did u get the power cord from it... im kinda confused? |

Pretty simple really, I just cut the small end, (camera end) off an unused digicam usb cord.
Peel back all the shield wires, and foil wrap, and separate the red and black wires,( +5v and ground). I used 5v LED's, so I didn't need a resistor, but if you use 3.3v LED's you need about an 85 ohm resistor in series, (solder it to the long leg of the LED), then solder the +5v to the long leg, or the resistor, if used, and the ground wire to the short leg.
