We have a square mirror raised by four rubbed feet, and fastened on top is a 80mm fan grill.. looks great and keeps that condensate off of your sexy wooden desk :-D if anyone stels this I will hunt you down and break your legs :-D

You could get Really trick, and use a laser-cut fan grill...
just put some rubber feet between it and the mrror!

ha, coasters?!? i've made cuzies after they came out with burners. if i had a half-way decent digital camera i would post up some pics. i'll see if i can't borrow one.

what the hell can you do with an 80mm coaster?? thats fine for pop, beer, and coffee but what about my big gulps and hot soups? we need the 120mm version.

OMG and my casserole! do you have a 300mm version? i need 4 ASAP please. i am hosting a dinner party for all the gals and i must have these as soon as possible. it would be ever so splended as i know they will be sooooooo jealous.

muuuuuuuuuaaaaaah. hugs and kisses,
Jay

alright scoth a couple of questions, how do u cut the mirror so as to not accidentaly tear some of the backing off? i cant get a really clean cut. and how do u stick the little feet on the bottom, and how did u fasten the mirror to the grill? lmao, not that i just asked u to explain the entire process.

well you can find a glass cutter at any department store (like 4.99) and that takes care of the glass, the little feet (wal-mart) have sticky bottoms already... and i just used a tiny bad of hot glue to secure the grill.... i'm sure there's a more professional way to do it though

you can wet-sand the edges with automotive grade sandpaper, so you don't slice yourself up!
