I currently have 512MB of PC2100 Memory (Crucial), running at CAS 2.5. I've heard rumors that you can actually run it at CAS 2 with no problems. Have you guys done this before, and if so, is there the potential of damaging the chip by making such a change in the BIOS? Thanks.

Naw, running at CAS 2 won't hurt it at all. Mind you, I would bump the ram voltage up maybe to 2.6 just to stabilize it.

Thanks guys. What if I can't up the RAM voltage, though? I think my K7S5A settings are all locked...

this site refers to memory "tweaks" in a few of their descriptions.....you might want to look a little deeper....
