yes, it is rather scary that dell's have ONE case fan + a psu fan. very scary.

2 fans in all!!!

usually there isn't even a cpu fan

well, I got the thing as a kinda gift, it actualy worked pretty well for what it was intended to do,
(web brousing, word proc., light games).
I was EXTREMELY upset that it didn't even have AGP support, nor facilities to install a second hard drive.
it is a 1.8 williamet celeron on an intel 845g??
I put in an Nvidia fx5200 pci, and Audigy 2 gamer, and a 120 Gb maxtor DiamondMax 9
When I moved it to the new case, I ran into all kinds of problems!
in my honest opinion, Dell totaly sux for making everything proprietary, and I will never buy from them!

Well one of the ways we learn is through our mistakes, most of us here have learned through Weazy's mistakes

Good thing is when the new setup is finished it will seem even better after owning a hell Dell.

Thanks Troy! and I cant keep it all in my head it tends to leak into my foot.

The way that I look at it is, if it happens to me and I can let other know what NOT to do then it may save someone else some headaches.

I am always trying new equipment and configurations, in fact it seems every day that I have off I am doing something with my computers. Even yesterday I fabricated a new mounting for the radiator and mounted four fans on it, in a push-pull config. And in doing so I dropped the operating temps about 8-10c. I will do more of a write up of it on my next day off.

Just remember direct watercooling and electronics dont mix!

also did a little wire cleanup, and added a MIRROR to the bottom of the case,
(helps reflect the UV Cold Cathodes)

and on top of the case

its a FX5200 PCI bus card...its going into a "Solitare-blaster" that I'm building for my sister
(actually. It' the best PCI card I've seen, I played Far Cry on it)
