I am seriously looking at the Thermaltake SP-94 heatsink, but I am not sure it will clear the cool chipset HSF on my new board, has anybody used this configuration? if it mounts with the fins horizontal, there shouldn't be a prob.
but it looks like they will be vertical.
any help would be Great! :)
Thanx |

board is a Chaintech 9CJS in an X-SuperAlien full tower, the board has a tall n-bridge cooler that sits really close to the hsf mount, the board is on the Fed-Ex truck right now, so I can't give more details on the chipset hsf height _________________ Yeah....... ok |

i'd check up with thermalright or zenith to see if it'll work. either that, or do a google search for sp-94 and 9cjs _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |

the chaintech's hsf mounting is rotated 90* compared to most boards..so i think they both run vertical.
either one will probably do fine for me..I just like the heat-pipe thing :^) _________________ Yeah....... ok |
