Smoke

Heya,

I was wondering whether it's possible to buy a small smoke machine that could fit inside a case and connect to the power supply, or be modded to connect to the power suppy.

I've got a couple of cool LED lights, and some smoke inside the case would look kinda cool with all the light streaking through the smoke or just have a thick layer of smoke at the bottom of the case (if you could get the fans to stop mixing the smoke up). lol

If you could get one, it would be an awesome case mod.

Hmmm, that would be interesting, but the smoke would more than likely be pushed outa your computer by the case fans.

That is if you have proper airflow......

right.....not to mention all smoke machine are is MOISTURE.....thats a little scary to me

Smoke-machine fluid is oil based, and it does leave a nasty residue on things in close proximity
(and my Dell had a 2-pack a day habit, dead and gone now)

good rule of thumb is smoke and electronics in any form is not a good thing.

Just as long as the factory installed smoke doesnt escape from your parts you are fine. But if it does happen that it gets released it is nigh impossible to get it back in. And for some reason things just dont work without their factory installed smoke still inside.

It seems kind cool at the time.... it's a shame it couldn't work.

Plus the 7 case fans and (Josh you also forgot this:) the 2 PSU fans and PCI blower that I have would prolly get rid of that smoke in a flash.

ACID, MOISTURE, RESIDUE with smoke ..... arghhhhhh! as you can see i'm not very knowledgeable in the subject of smoke generators.
