well, i tried upgrading ram in the parents compaq persario 6000 and it would take any ram. there is also only room for one fan in the case. its a 92mm fan pushing about 15 cfm. the processor temp never falls below 56C (its an amd althon xp 1800+)

i was talkin about the old compaqs. i think they stopped doing their own ram slots and ram to get more customers or somethin. how well are steaks cooked on that grill?

the best thing to use a dell or compac case for is an aquarium. I am looking into doing this with an old case that I have lying around. I even thought about using the water in the tank to run my watercooling but I didnt think cooking the fish slowly would be good. Or getting a fish stuck in one of the waterblocks would bo to good either.

LOL - I still have a box full of crap that used to be a dell case from Persianskater's comp. That thing doesn't have a single fan on it!! WHY!?!?! that's terrrible
