hey, welcome to the forum It really depends how much money your willing to spend. I have a syncmaster 152T its great, especially in DVI mode. The thing is, is the DVI just failed on me today for no reason. anyways, If money isnt an issue, I would get the Samsung Syncmaster 191T or 172T. I would stay away from viewsonic, as I havent heard too many good things about there LCD's,but I here there CRT's are pretty damn good. If you are on a budget, which it sounds like your not, I would get the 152T, or an Eizo display. I hear the Eizo L365 is really awesome.

I would have to say that I have not had one problem with any of the Samsung monitors I have reviewed.
Go Samsung and you won't go wrong. _________________ Owner & Administrator

| I would add that Planar makes an excellent TFT as well, the PX171M-BK 17-inch Multimedia LCD Monitor is as good as it gets for many things. It also allows screen rotation, which is quite handy for viewing pages or pdfs or what ever you like. nVidia supports this and so does ATi, except you will need something like Rage3d Tweak to use it. Did I mention the response time is 16ms? or that Dell is offering it for sale for 467USdollars? |
