I should be able to right click on Start Menu items, such as program folders, My Computer.......and such, and get a drop down menu.
for some reason all i get now is a brief flash!
(Win XP Home)
Does anybody have any advice that will help me?

THANX

I have all updates for Norton 03 and run a scan every week at least,
did a search for "trendomicro.com" and didn't find anything.
I will try the AdAware thing next.

Thanx for the VERRY SWIFT REPLY :^)

oh sorry....i meant trendmicro.com......lol....not trendo

but it could be a diplay problem too.........or an OS bug.......list us as many stats about your comp as possible (e.g. Hardware, OS, CPU, Motherboard brand etc..)

this will help us diagnose this better

If you run the repair you shouldnt have to get the updates again this only fixes damaged Window files or ones that are missing.

And TH is right dont get the prescott.

Well I have 120mm intake, 80mm exhaust, and 80mm blowhole on the case.
Just using a Thermalright 948 heatsink. I've lapped both the heatsink and cpu finishing with 2000grit.
